Fight mode includes two game modes, Balloon Battle and Shine Runners, both which also enable the player to perform either individually or in teams.

In Balloon Battle, the participant should pop the balloons of the players by assaulting themor they are able to steal balloons by fostering into other karts. Each participant begins the battle using 1 balloon. These are able to be re-inflated up to 4 times.
